Description
The drumstick is dark meat and is the lower part of the chicken leg. Chicken drumsticks are an excellent source of protein and some B vitamins. One drumstick provides over 20 percent of the dietary reference intake, or DRI, for protein. While removing the skin reduces the calories and fat in a roasted chicken drumstick, it has very little effect on the vitamin mineral content. Approximately 6 in a kilo.
